This dress from Modcloth mixes fabrics and prints so well. The center panel is a small vertical stripe, and the sides are checked. The inset at the top of the chest is sheer and pink and really makes the dress special.
It would be a great day to evening dress and would look cute over the weekend with pink flats or nude sandals, or at work with black pumps.
The design is great and makes you look thinner and taller because of the narrow, straight panel down the front that tricks people into thinking that you are only that wide. The dress is vertically oriented so you look taller and leaner and there isn't anything breaking it up to take away from the effect.
If you are very slender already, you could add a thin belt to make this dress give you some curves, but I think it looks great just as it is.
