On New Year's Eve, I think everyone should glitz it up and wear clothes that match the golden bubbly champagne that they will be drinking.
When you are wearing something as attention-grabbing as sequins, I think you should play down the other sexiness in the outfit and not wear outrageous heels or something short and cleavage-y. Just pick one other thing to go highlight on your body and then leave the rest simple. That way you won't look slutty.
$52 Chevron brown sequin dress
The sequin patterns are flattering and show some cleavage, so the length is more demure
$77 BB Dakota Rianna black and silver sequin dress
The dress is a little loose instead of skin tight, which allows you to have the cleavage and the short length but not look over the top
$91 Silver circle sequin dress
This one also uses the drape of the extra fabric to class it up. I like the bow at the belt because then you look like a present.
$79 beaded backless dress
If you have the good fortune to be able to go bra-less, this dress is a no-brainer. Looks simple and form fitting from the front, and then totally sexy in back with the gold beading and exposed deep U.
$95 Supernova sequin dress
Want to show off your stems? This short green sequin dress would look great on a blonde (think Blake Lively) or a chestnut brunette like Rachel Bilson. Plus you get some arm coverage so you aren't so cold.
Want sequins just on top or bottom for a less showy effect?
$43 Chiffon sequin top
This flowy top looks great over skinnies and under a shrunken black blazer
$27 Gold sequin skirt
Short, tight, and sparkly. Heidi Klum would love it.
