How to make liquid soap from bar soap

Seems like a no-brainer, right? Just add water?
That is what I would have said too.
Apparently the magic ingredient is glycerin.

I like liquid hand soap (and shower gel) better than bar soap; E prefers the bars.
I don't like the way they get cracked or dirty looking or attract hairs or sometimes get slimy and mushy if they've been left in water.
Also, this is a lot cheaper than buying liquid soap.

When I travel, I take home a bar of soap for him, but sometimes I wish I could use them because they smell so good.
Now I can grate up my bars and then it's all liquid, all the time!
Suck it, E.
