These are made with vintage leather that's been treated and scuffed up a bit, so I guess you don't have to worry about kicking something or scraping them.
The open part under the arch is so interesting- the line is the shape of vintage women's heels which was a curvier sole line than we have today. I like the contrast of seeing the old line under the new.
Most vintage shoes would never go above 3" though, so these 4.5 inchers are definitely a modern interpretation.
