TOMS ballet flats

I generally hate the look of TOMS and I made fun of their fancy line here a while back, but I do like the idea and the message.
And now, finally, they have some non-hideous shoes!

The ballet flats are pretty cute.
Unfortunately, some of the reviews on the site say they are uncomfortable, which makes me wary of buying them.
Other people say they are comfortable, though. Who do you trust? I don't know.
The majority of reviews do say to order 1/2 size down from your usual, though.
