My favorite earrings are a pair of tiny rhinestone hoops that fit close to my ear and click together in back so there are no stabby parts or earring backs. They are comfortable, good for travelling, and you don't have to take them out to sleep in.
However, they are missing a lot of their stones and they are el cheapo and I can't really wear them anymore.
