I like uncut diamonds and low-grade rough cut diamonds.
I like them alone and when they are juxtaposed with cut and polished diamonds.
The rough ones would also make for good men's wedding or engagement rings.
If I ever get back into making real jewelry, I would work with a combination of rough and polished diamonds in one piece.
